The Associate Degree Nursing program is a two-year program that leads to an Associate of Applied Science degree and allows graduates to apply to take the state licensing exams for registered nursing (RN). According to the Texas Workforce Commission, Central Texas will need more than 10,000 new registered nurses each year through 2024.
Interested applicants must complete the Temple College admission process as well as requirements for acceptance into the nursing program. Applications for the next class will be accepted through April 13.
Information sessions for prospective students are held the first Tuesday of each month at 4 p.m. in Room 1003 of the Nursing Education Center.
