Vocal Point, a Temple College student ensemble focused on musical theatre performing skills, will put on a show titled “From Rent to Now: The Last 20 Years of Broadway,” on Tuesday, Nov. 1, at 12:30 p.m. in the Jackson-Graeter Backstage Theatre. It is free and open to the public.

The concert will feature solo and group numbers from a variety of Broadway musicals written since 1996 including “Rent,” “Next to Normal,” “The Color Purple,” “The Fully Monty,” “Spring Awakening,” “Urinetown,” “The Light in the Piazza,” “If/Then,” and “Fun Home.” A few of the songs are from shows currently playing on Broadway: “Something Rotten,” “The Book of Mormon,” “Waitress” and “Hamilton.”
