The Temple College Division of Business and Continuing Education is now taking registrations for the following health profession courses that will be offered this fall: Dietary Management, EKG Technician, Clinical Medical Assistant and Certified Nurse Aide.
Part one of a three-part Dietary Manager’s Certification Program will be offered Mondays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning Sept. 12 and ending Nov. 28. The fee for this course is $250.
An EKG Technician course will be offered at two different times: Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Sept. 17 through Dec. 10 or Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:40 to 9:10 p.m. Sept. 19 through Dec. 12. The course fee is $1,845.
A Clinical Medical Assistant course will be offered Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Sept. 17 through Feb. 18, 2017. The course fee is $2,895. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be prepared to take Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam offered by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
A Certified Nurse Aide course will be offered Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Oct. 5 through Nov. 23. The course fee is $750. Upon completion of this program, students will be prepared to take the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP) exam offered by Pearson Vue.
