Temple College clarinet instructor Anna Carney will present a recital on Sunday, Jan. 22, at 3 p.m. in the Jackson-Graeter Backstage Theatre. The concert is free and open to the public.
Soprano Teri Johnson and pianist Father Timothy Nolt will join Carney in a selection of pieces from composers such as Schumann, Poulenc, Finzi, von Weber and Horvit.
Carney is a professional clarinetist who has performed throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico in solo recitals, as well as with chamber ensembles and symphony orchestras. She has been applauded for her warm clarinet tone and musical style.
