Representatives from the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) will be at Temple College Feb. 21-23 to conduct a site review of the college’s Associate Degree Nursing program. The review is required for continuing accreditation of the program.

Members of the public are invited to meet the site visit team and share their comments about the program at a meeting that will begin at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 22, in Room 1003 of the Dell Martin Nursing Education Center.

All written comments must be received by the ACEN by Feb. 13.

The Associate Degree Nursing program at Temple College was initially accredited in 1996 and has maintained its accreditation ever since.

In addition to holding the public forum, the site visit team will meet with several college administrators, members of the ADN faculty, all of the ADN students and several general education faculty members. They also will review the program’s curriculum, faculty qualifications and student policies, as well as library resources and college resources.
