The Temple College Biology Department and the Temple College Science Club are hosting a Biology Seminar on Monday, April 10, at 6:30 p.m. in Room 301 of the Newton Science Building.

The seminar is titled “The A.R.T of Baby Making” and will be presented by Dr. Matthew VerMilyea, who is the director of Ovation Fertility in Austin. VerMilyea is an expert on assisted reproductive technologies and oversees all aspects of the procedures conducted in Ovation Fertility’s in vitro fertilization laboratory.

VerMilyea received a B.S. degree from Cornell University and a Ph.D. in genetics from the University of Birmingham School of Medicine in the United Kingdom. Before joining Ovation Fertility, he served at leading fertility centers in the United States and New Zealand.
