The primary purpose of an academic advising program is to assist students in the development of meaningful educational plans that are compatible with their life goals. Academic advising should be viewed as a continuous process of clarification and evaluation. Advisors are available throughout the year.
Prior to registering, the following students should be advised by an Academic Advisor:
- Students who have not passed the ACCUPLACER, THEA, or other TSI approved test; or
- First time at Temple College student.
All students are urged to make use of the College Catalog, Schedule of Classes, and the Student Handbook when selecting courses or developing an educational plan. These publications are available on the Temple College Web Site.
