We’ll give serious consideration to those of you with special competence in the field(s) in which you wish to teach. Additionally, we require:

  • higher education academic preparation or specialized higher education training,
  • direct work experience using the competencies to be taught ,
  • excellent communication skills,
  • the ability to work with diverse groups and ability levels, and
  • knowledge of adult learning strategies with a proven track record in successfully teaching adults.

On occasion, we will “train-the-trainer” and welcome those who can instruct a variety of subjects in Spanish.  We make use of our adjunct faculty for:

  • weekday, evening, or weekend classes,
  • open-enrollment public offerings and customized training for businesses and organizations in our service area, offered onsite or at Temple College. Locations are available anywhere in our service area which encompasses parts of Milam, Bell, and Williamson Counties.
